Description

Gallium Nitrate 42% CONCENTRATE: Follow Instructions Carefully for Dilution.

INTENDED USE: This product, when diluted, supports healthy hoof bones and joints in horses by inhibiting osteoclast action and resorption of bone, by stimulating bone formation through action on osteoblasts (bone forming cells) and by providing anti-inflammatory, anti-aluminum bacteriostatic, and anti-pain benefits. *

NET CONTENTS OF BOTTLE: 210 grams of Gallium Nitrate in 500 ml of water (57 grams of Elemental Gallium) = 42% CONCENTRATE.

THIS PRODUCT IS CONCENTRATED. BEFORE USE, IT MUST BE DILUTED TO A ONE PERCENT (1%) SOLUTION. After dilution, the solution will yield a 42-day supply for your horse.

INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE A ONE PERCENT (1%) SOLUTION: Using a syringe, add 12cc of the 42% CONCENTRATE to a pint of distilled water to make a single, daily dose for a 1200-pound horse. Use a clean, plastic, water bucket and stir well. This dilution will contain (1%) Gallium Nitrate. Equivalences:(One pint = ½ liter = 500 ml = 500 cc) (1 ml = 1cc or one milliliter = one cubic centimeter).

DOSAGE FOR A 1200 POUND HORSE: Add one pint of the 1% Gallium Nitrate solution to the horse’s feed, once each day, for a minimum of 90 days, preferably for 6 months. For long-term maintenance, after the first 6 months, daily doses may be reduced by half. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Proportionately adjust the dosage for substantially lighter and heavier horses.

IMPORTANT: What is your horse’s weight? The dosages recommended on the bottle’s label and on the website are for a 1200 pound horse. Proportionally, if the horse weighs more than 1200 pounds, the dosage should be adjusted upward and if the horse weights less than 1200 pounds, the dosage should be adjusted downward. For example, to calculate the daily dosage for a 900 pound horse (900/1200=.75 and 500 ml x .75 = daily dosage of 375 ml instead of the 50 0ml). For a heavier horse of 1500 pounds (1500/1200 = 1.25 and then 1.25 x 500 ml = 625 ml) for the heavier horse. These dosages are using the 1% diluted solution, always. Consistency in daily dosages is critical for the horse’s care. (1 ml = 1 cc or 1 milliliter equals 1 cubic centimeter)

WARNINGS: Keep the product out of the reach of children and animals. To prevent pain, do not allow CONCENTRATE to contact the mouth or eyes of humans or animals. In case of mouth or eye contact, rinse thoroughly with clean water for at least 15 minutes. If the pain continues, seek medical help immediately. Absorption of Gallium Nitrate solutions through the skin is rapid. Skin contact with the CONCENTRATE will cause itching, stinging, and/or exfoliation if not washed from the skin. Keep the container sealed to prevent evaporation. Do not allow evaporation to occur as evaporation will dry out the solution and reform Gallium Nitrate crystals, which are hazardous. Do not allow contact with metals.

OTHER INFORMATION: Label the daily dosages, of diluted Gallium Nitrate, with the words: “One Percent Gallium Nitrate.” Store all containers in a dry, cool place. Freezing will not harm this material. Studies have shown the possibility of overly exuberant behavior at the first turn out to pasture.
